Determine Lattice & Tilt [det_lattice]

Switch, deciding if this script should run or not.

Lattice Determination Algorithm to run [do_lattice_algorithm]

Gives you the option to choose between Findlattice and Getlattice. If realcell unit values have not been obtained, choose “Getlattice”. (For instance, if you are running an image for the first time, choose Getlattice.) Select “FindLattice” if realcell unit values are known.

Lattice Determination: Absolute error [laterror_abserror]

This is an output parameter from the automatic lattice determination programs, telling how well the automatic lattice was determined.

Lattice Determination: RMSD Error [laterror_rmsderror]

The root mean square deviation (RMSD) or root mean square error (RMSE) is a measure telling you how much your found lattice deviates from your peaks. This is an output parameter from the automatic lattice determination programs, telling how well the automatic lattice was determined.

Lattice Determination: Peaks used [laterror_peaksused]

This is an output parameter from the automatic lattice determination programs, telling how many peaks were used to fit the lattice vectors.

Lattice Determination: Node/Peak Density [laterror_nodepeakdensity]

This is an output parameter from the automatic lattice determination programs giving the ratio nodes per peak.

Regenerate Peak List [regenPL]

This is a boolean switch to decide whether or not peaklist should be generated from initial image.

Number of Peaks [peakNum]

Number of Peaks in peaksearch, more peaks yields a more accurate lattice.

Inner exclusion radius for first peak list generation [InnerExclusionRadius]

SpotScan images show in the FFT often a high density of low-resolution peaks around the origin. This radius allows to exclude those peaks, which have nothing to do with the 2D crystal. This value here should be given in reciprocal FFT space units, which range from 0 to 0.5. Use 0.01 for a normal image, and increase this value for SpotScan images to e.g. 0.08. You can verify the effect of this in the output image “Masked and Band-Passed Powerspectrum”.

Delta tolerance for lattice refinement [delta]

The tolerance of the refinement routine in 2dx_findlat (a value between 2 and 5).

Test other handedness also? [testHand]

This switch allows to decide if the lattice search also tests for lattices of inverted handedness.

Reciprocal Lattice [lattice]

The reciprocal lattice, in Fourier space (in Rec. Length Units, RLU).

Second (bad) Lattice [secondlattice]

A potentially existing second (bad) reciprocal lattice, for spot exclusion (in RLU).

Backup Register for Lattice [backuplattice]

This is a register to be used to temporarily store a lattice. Use the Evaluate Lattice script to move a lattice in and out of this register.
