The Focus software can be installed either by pre-built packages for macOS (10.10 +) and Linux X11 (.deb, .rpm) or by source code. The appropriate downloads are available on the downloads page on main Focus website.

The release information for a particular version can be accessed on clicking the version text.

Some of the terms used in the downloads page are described below:

Nightly built: The version is under development and might have errors. A new updated version is uploaded either after every change we do to the software, or every night. If you are using this version and you find any errors, please help us identify them using our issue tracker.

Release: The version is released and will not be updated any more. If there are any errors in this version, we will fix them in the next version. But, in general, these version are tested and more stable.

Installation from source code
